How About Those COWBOYS. The National Football League continues to grow financially. Teams valuations are skyrocketing which only highlights how good sports business is doing in this moment of time. Which NFL team is the richest? According to Sportico the Cowboys remain on top of the NFL’s most valuable franchises.
Sportico estimates that the Dallas Cowboys are now worth $15.5 billion, up 21% from 2025. The Cowboys’ estimated operating profits for 2025 were $510 million. No other NFL team had profits over $255 million.
However, every NFL team as a whole is not doing bad. They’re all worth BILLIONS. Regarding NFL teams rising valuations, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports,
“Sportico once again named the Dallas Cowboys as the most valuable franchise in sports, listing their value at $15.5 billion. Jerry Jones’ franchise has been the most valuable franchise in sports in every iteration of Sportico’s valuations.
The Dallas Cowboys are followed by the Los Angeles Rams at $12.7 billion, the New York Giants at $12 billion, the New England Patriots at $10.4 billion, and the New York Jets at $10.35 billion to round out the top five.”

Even the NFL organizations that are not valued as high as the above Top 10 are STILL one of the wealthiest in the entire world. Sportico reveals,
“The 32 teams are collectively worth $299 billion, including real estate and related businesses, such as the Cowboys’ sports components of The Star mixed-use development in Frisco, Texas.
The NFL flexed its financial might over the past 12 months with a record-breaking control sale price in Seattle and sky-high valuations of limited partnership stakes in Cleveland, Las Vegas and Miami.
Yet there are only six sports franchises on the planet outside the NFL that are worth more than the Bengals. The list includes three from the NBA, two in MLB and LaLiga’s Real Madrid. The NFL’s least valuable team is worth $7.4 billion, by Sportico’s count, and all 32 teams land among the world’s 40 most valuable sports franchises.”
So then, whether they are hoisting trophies are not, all NFL teams are truly winners. Especially, when you break them down financially. And with American football being included in the upcoming Los Angeles Olympics; the league will no doubt make more fans globally. Bringing in even more bacon.
