ALCS Game 3 Rays-Guardians Has Been Moved Up to 1 pm ET Due to Inclement Weather
It’s been an exciting series with each team taking a win apiece. However, nature is on a mission to cause a change of plans. Thursday’s ALCS Game 3 between the Rays and Guardians has been moved up to 1 pm ET (originally 6 pm ET) due to forecasted inclement weather in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Guardians announced the change in schedule via social media. In a statement the ball club says,
“The Cleveland Guardians and MLB announced tomorrow’s ALCS Game 3 against the Tampa Bay Rays has been moved to a 1:00 p.m. ET first pitch due to incoming inclement weather expected on Thursday, October 15. Gates to Progressive Field will now open at 11:00 a.m. ET.
Fans holding tickets to the game can use the exact same ticket to enter the 1:00 p.m. ET game. Tickets purchased from a secondary ticket marketplace will also be accepted for tomorrow’s 1:00 p.m. ET game.
All parking passes for tomorrow’s game will be automatically moved to the new scheduled start time.
If you have any questions, please contact a Fan Services Representative at 216-420-HITS or fanservices@cleguardians.com.”
Thursday’s ALCS Game 3 between the Rays and Guardians can be viewed on TBS, truTV, & HBO Max.
Nevertheless, this switch up on Thursday is having a domino effect. Not only affecting American League fans, but National League baseball fans as well. Major League Baseball announced that Thursday’s NLCS Game 4 between the Brewers and Dodgers has been moved up one hour to 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. The change is a result of Wednesday’s earlier modification to the start time of ALCS Game 3 in Cleveland from 6 pm ET to 1 pm ET due to Thursday night’s poor forecast.

The Dodgers also confirmed the game time news. The organization is currently battling out with the Brewers in hopes of achieving a historic three-peat. LA told their fans,
“The start time for NLCS Game 4 has been changed to 5pm PT. Dodger fans, please be advised that tomorrow’s NLCS Game 4 start time has been changed to 5:00 PM PT. Please plan your arrival accordingly. We look forward to seeing you at Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium.”
All teams are working hard to coordinate to keep the show on the road. While helping to make the experience run smoothly for fans in person and for those watching at home.
