Her team made it to the postseason as the sixth seed. They fought valiantly but were not able to progress forward in the playoffs, being ultimately eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces. However, now Indy and its players have turned towards preparing for the future; including getting healthy. With this in mind, the Indiana Fever’s Aliyah Boston underwent a successful right knee arthroscopy to repair the lateral meniscus on Wednesday. It was performed by Dr. Corey Kendall at OrthoIndy.

Boston was a true trooper all year. It is believed that her injury actually occurred before the 2026 season commenced. A firm timeline of when the injury happened has not been announced or revealed. Yet, it is surmised that the unfortunate incident went down while she played for the Unrivaled 3×3 basketball league back in February.

The Fever organization referred to Boston’s injury as a “lower leg injury” all year and was vague when asked about specifics. However, now the star center’s true diagnosis has at long last become clear… a lingering meniscus injury.

Boston will begin her rehab process with the Indiana Fever’s medical and performance team. Updates will be provided as they become available, the team says.
