It’s that time of year again when the NFL Owners come together for a spring meeting. The 2026 NFL Spring Meetings are being held in Minnesota this year. During the meetings the owners will discuss league-wide issues, vote on rule changes, and handle matters involving any team sales and policy updates. One such matter is determining where Super Bowls will be hosted. So, NFL owners are expected to vote on if 2030 Super Bowl LXIV will be held in Nashville TN. You may wonder why Tennessee is in consideration.
Well for one thing. Tennessee Titans are scheduled to open their new $2.1 billion stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River in 2027. New stadiums are always given preference to host a Super Bowl. The Dallas Cowboys completed their AT&T Stadium in 2009 and on February 6, 2011, they hosted Super Bowl XLV. The Pittsburgh Steelers were defeated by the Green Bay Packers 31-25 in that game.
It the Titans win the approval to host the 2030 game then they will have been in the new stadium for three years. Therefore, any kinks or mysterious issues should have been worked out by then. Also, Nashville is known as “Music City” which means they get a lot of tourists in the city. So, they are well-equipped to handle large crowds which is what Super Bowls always draw. Nashville is well-known for its country music scene so country music lovers from all over the world would want to go there for music and football.
Although the city has never hosted the Super Bowl before, they did host the 2019 NFL Draft successfully. The city will look to have the same success hosting a Super Bowl.

The 2030 Super Bowl is the soonest the city could hope to host the big event. The next three Super Bowls have already been spoken for: SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. (2027); Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (2028); and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (2029). SoFi Stadium opened in July 2020 and hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022 so the 2027 event will be their second time hosting. Mercedes-Benz stadium also hosted Super Bowl LIII in 2019. And Allegiant stadium is a former Super Bowl host of LVIII.
So, the Titans new stadium will be a newcomer to the Super Bowl hosting scene if they are awarded the 2030 game. And who knows maybe by then the Titans will have improved enough to be a participant in that game.
