Warriors Announced Their 2026 Home Schedule For The Preseason

Missing the NBA? Well, good news, we have entered the point of the 2026 timeline where teams are announcing their preseason home schedules. The first to engage in this public heralding is Golden State. Monday afternoon the Warriors announced their 2026 home schedule for the preseason.

Golden State fans are riding a high from excitement. Their first round rookie, Yaxel Lendeborg and the Warriors youth core talent impressed at Summer League. Getting all the way to Finals for the first time since 2013. And they didn’t just get there, they were crowned this year’s champions.

So then, there are some talented bright spots to look forward to this upcoming season. On top of the franchise bringing back Porzingis, Melton and Horford. Plus, there is still the opportunity for LeBron James to join the roster up in the Bay. And if he does, preseason could become cinema.

The Golden State Warriors will host three preseason games at Chase Center, beginning with a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 6. This means that if LeBron James ultimately decides to go to the Warriors, this could be the first time he plays against his former team. Cue the popcorn.

But whether James signs with the Warriors or not, watching Stephen Curry hoops will still be must-watch TV and streaming. Regarding their preseason home games Golden State announced,

“The Golden State Warriors will host three preseason games at Chase Center, beginning with a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, October 6 (7 p.m. PT), it was announced today. Tickets for the Warriors’ preseason games at Chase Center will go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, July 21, with exclusive presale events before becoming available to the general public on Wednesday, July 22, at 6 p.m. PT.

In addition to the preseason opener against the Lakers, the Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, October 10(5:30 p.m. PT) and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, October 16 (7 p.m. PT).”

The Warriors went 2-1 at home during last year’s preseason and own a 14-5 all-time record in preseason games at Chase Center. Franchise wins leader Steve Kerr returns for his 13th season as head coach (604 wins). While four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry, the NBA’s 22nd all-time leading scorer (26,528 points), enters his 18th NBA season with Golden State. Golden State’s complete preseason schedule will be announced at a later date.
