Dodgers 2026 NL West Champions—MLB Record of 24 Divisional Titles
It has become almost a yearly occurrence for over a decade now. The Blue Men are once again the kings of the NL West. For the 13th time in the last 14 years, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the division champions! The Dodgers are the 2026 NL West Champions which means the franchise now holds the MLB record of 24 divisional titles surpassing the Atlanta Braves (23).
What is the key to this team’s success? You could point to money, scouting or development. However, Kyle Tucker wants people to know it is truly the drive, attitude, motivation and support of the players themselves; that continues to hurtle this organization towards their ultimate destiny. Regarding his teammates Kyle Tucker mentions, “Everyone supports each other through the ups and downs, we all know where we want to be at the end of the year and we all just try to help each other out to get there.”
In his speech to the Dodger players after clinching the division, Dave Roberts added, “We’re the most talented, we’re the smartest players, the toughest players and we’re the most hungry.”

They have amassed 1,315 wins, 13 NL West Division titles, 5 NL Pennants and 3 World Series championships.
By defeating the Cincinnati Reds 8-2 on Thursday, LA secured the division. This brings the Dodgers to 93 wins, 60 losses and winning percentage of .608. The two-time defending World Series champions are still chasing the NL’s top seed. Which is currently held by the Milwaukee Brewers. However, to quote another LA great, the job is not finished. There is still more that the Dodgers are hoping to accomplish. They are going for the 3-peat. The Dodgers are looking to become the first team to capture three consecutive World Series championships since the Yankees did it from 1998 to 2000.
Only a few franchises in MLB history—the Yankees and Athletics—have ever managed three consecutive titles. Los Angeles looks to become the first franchise in the National League to do so.
