Washington Commanders Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil Tore Triceps In 1-on-1 Practice
It’s a crucial position in the game of football as far as the quarterback is concerned. The position requires the player to protect the pass thrower at all times. If he isn’t doing the job properly, then the signal caller is likely to get sacked multiple times, throw errant passes or even turn the ball over. Unfortunately, it appears that Jayden Daniels is going to have to worry about his protection this season. Washington Commanders left tackle Laremy Tunsil tore his triceps in 1-0n-1 practice Saturday.
NFL Insiders Mike Garofolo and Steve Wyche reported on the injury, posting:
“Sources to me and @wyche89: #Commanders five-time Pro Bowl LT Laremy Tunsil suffered a torn triceps in practice today during 1-on-1 pass-rush drills. He’ll likely require surgery and will miss at least a significant portion of the regular season.”
