She is only 21 years old and being included in discussions with names such as the Williams Sisters as well as Maria Sharapova. Statistics platform OptaAce highlighted the historical significance and nature of Noskova’s Wimbledon triumph. The platform revealed,

After taking the first set, Linda had to regroup after Muchova won set two. Nonetheless, Linda Noskova fearlessly battled back to defeat Muchova in three sets 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to claim her first major title; a Grand Slam title at that. And now becomes the youngest Wimbledon champion since 2011.

Noskova talked to fans and the media after her exhilarating victory. She had many people to thank for her success; however, in a very heartfelt moment she thanked her late mother. Linda Noskova thanked her mom; her pillar of strength and strong support who passed away just before Wimbledon in 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She tearfully said,
“There’s also one more person I would like to thank, which is my mom. I definitely would not be standing here without her, so thank you.
I don’t cry normally, this is not okay for me. I’ve been enjoying these 2 weeks so much. All of the sad tears, all of the happy tears. All the sweat and blood that went into this, it was all worth it. I will definitely never forget these 2 weeks.”
Noskova then looked up to the sky and blew a kiss. What a moment. What a champion. Congratulations to Linda Noskova!
