For instance, think you stood a chance against 2016 Steph Curry and the Warriors? Want to take away one of Jordan’s championships? Well, now here’s your opportunity. NBA 2K announced,

The MyPLAYER Builder in NBA 2K27 offers deeper customization and more versatility, so you can model your MyPLAYER after your favorite NBA and WNBA superstars.
Put your MyPLAYER into the moments that define NBA history with brand new MyCAREER Eras in NBA 2K27.”
Yes, instead of playing as a team from a particular era, enjoy a historic NBA 2K career defining moment. Create and build your own player and compete against the biggest legends in the game.
For the first time ever, you can take your MyPLAYER through 5 different historical eras:
- Magic vs. Bird Era → 1984, with Michael Jordan entering the NBA as a rookie
- Jordan Era → 1991, at the beginning of the Bulls’ legendary first three-peat
- Kobe Era → 2003, featuring the historic draft class that included LeBron James
- LeBron Era → 2010, as the superteam era begins
- Steph Era → 2016, at the start of the 3-point revolution
There is one thing to note. Nothing big. Just know that historical rosters, rules, trades, teams and presentation are all tailored to each era.
Nonetheless, the ladies are not being left out in the cold with this latest edition. For the first time ever, female MyPLAYERS have been confirmed in NBA 2K27. You can create a female MyPlayer and run the whole City co-ed — same builds, same attributes, same gameplay as the guys. Thousands of women’s clothing options are available. So then, with the major growth in women’s sports and basketball; this is a great addition in the game.
