Giants Are Calling Up Outfield Prospect Bo Davidson From Triple-A Sacramento
Looks like in the Bay, they are just going to let the kids play to finish up the season. Who is coming to the party? Well, word on the baseball street is that the San Francisco Giants are calling up outfield prospect Bo Davidson from Triple-A Sacramento.
Davidson has been one of the Giants most exciting young talents coming up the pipeline. And now fans may get treated to a quick glimpse of Bo this week before the season concludes. San Francisco Giants beat writer Justice Delos Santos was among the first to break the news regarding Davidson. He writes,
“Outfielder Bo Davidson, the Giants’ No. 5 prospect per Baseball America, will be in San Francisco today, per source.
Team has yet to finalize if he’ll be activated, but it’s likely.
Davidson was hitting .309/.389/.534 with 10 homers and 6 steals for Triple-A Sacramento.”
FanSided’s Jeff Young adds, “Bo Davidson will become the 3rd undrafted free agent signed by the Giants in 2023 to debut in the majors this year. Parks Harber, who was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and traded to the Giants in 2025, is not far behind either.”
George Bissell of NBC Sports also took a moment to chime in on Justice’s Davidson report. Bissell mentions,
“Now this is fun. Davidson has joined San Francisco ahead of Monday’s series opener against the Twins after a sizzling-hot stretch to close out the year at Triple-A Sacramento where he’s hit .367 (18-for-49) with three homers since the start of September. He finished the season slashing a robust .290/.361/.527 with 29 homers and 20 steals in 125 games in the upper minors. The 24-year-old has gone from undrafted a couple years ago to one of the top prospects in San Francisco’s system. He possesses a fantasy relevant skillset and should be an interesting X-factor during the final week of the year. He’s worthy of a speculative roster spot in deeper mixed leagues.”

1) Josuar Gonzalez, SS
2) Luis Hernández, SS
3) Jhonny Level, SS
4) Jackson Flora, RHP
5) Bo Davidson, OF
The baseball authority also took a moment to comment on the Bo’s skillset. Baseball America says, “Giants No. 5 prospect Bo Davidson will be in San Francisco today and is likely to be activated, per Justice Delos Santos. The 24-year-old outfielder pairs 60-grade power with 60-grade speed.”
