2026 WNBA Draft Recap—Three Rounds of Picks

It is always a thrill to see who goes number one overall. However, it is a life changing night for many draft prospects. Every pick is a possible future star and face of tomorrow. Did you miss one of the selections? We present the Sports Feen 2026 WNBA Draft Recap featuring all three rounds of picks.

In case you were wondering how the draft works or just need a quick refresher. Here are the official Draft Rules provided by the Women National Basketball Association:

“The WNBA Draft shall consist of three rounds, with each round consisting of fifteen picks.

The order of team picks in each round is the inverse order of the standings from the last regular season, except for the first five picks of the first round, which are determined by the Draft Lottery. Additionally, the two expansion teams in 2026, the Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire received the sixth and seventh picks in each round. 

Draft picks can be traded among teams up until the night before the Draft, so the order and number of picks per team can change significantly. They can continue to be traded until the order is locked in at 5 pm ET the day before the draft.

After that point, exercised draft picks (i.e. selected players) can be traded during or after the Draft.”

The final order of WNBA 2026 Draft was determined following the five-team lottery where the Dallas Wings secured the top spot.
