Therefore, it literally pays to be a friend of the legendary Chicago Bulls player. Nevertheless, following in his entrepreneur footsteps and lead is not a bad idea at all. Jordan has amassed a vast amount of wealth outside of basketball due to his wise decisions and business acumen.

For instance, across his 15 NBA seasons, Jordan hauls in a whopping $94 million in salary and signing bonuses; and he was the league’s highest-paid player in 1997 and 1998. However, this is almost like “play money” for the guy. Guess how much Michael made alone in 2023?

$90 million? $150 million? $220 million? Nah, blud. Go higher. JVM Lending reports:

“Michael Jordan earned $94 million just for playing basketball over the course of his entire career. Last year, (2023) alone though, he made a full $330 million just from the royalties from his Jordan shoe brand (via Nike).”

Additionally, Jordan has been a billionaire for a decade now. Since 2014. He’s one of three professional athletes to achieve billionaire status. It’s now Jordan, Tiger Woods and Lebron James.

But guess what? Michael doesn’t just have one billion in his bank account. Since 2014 the racks just keep piling on up. Estimates show that the Michael Jordan empire of personal wealth is now somewhere around $3.1-$3.2 billon. Billion with a “B.”

Therefore, if any of Jordan’s athlete friends want to learn how to make 10 to 30 times more than they did during their actual playing days. He’s definitely the guy to partner up with and learn some ropes from.
