2026 NFL Draft—All of Night One Selections
The 2026 NFL Draft has arrived and all the action is going down in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from April 23-25, 2026. Night One of the NFL Draft consists of only the first round. It’s where fans find out the number one overall selection, top ten and the full top 32 picks considered the cream of the draft crop/class. Did you miss anything? Well, read on friends, here is our 2026 NFL Draft recap featuring all of night one’s selections.
But first… just a few notes for you. The first pick of the draft was not much of a surprise to most. The Las Vegas Raiders were in need of a quarterback and they went with a Heisman Trophy winner, Fernando Mendoza.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder from Miami, Fla., was the 2025 Big Ten Offensive Player and also Quarterback of the Year. And an All-Big Ten first-team quarterback who led Indiana to a 2025 Big Ten Championship victory over Ohio State and a No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff.
Moreover, speaking of Ohio State; it seems like every NFL team had a close eye on Ohio’s players. And several teams acted on their scouting reports. Three Buckeyes went in the top seven. Then another one again just four picks later.
Furthermore, another interesting tidbit, is that in this year’s draft; not every team gets to enjoy the hope of drafting a first-round selection. Six teams did not have a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and the newly added Cincinnati Bengals. Of course, trades could easily have changed this; but going into the draft these six teams did not have a night one selection.
Nonetheless, early mock drafts and prospect rankings projected that players like QB Fernando Mendoza, LB Arvell Reese, and also Edge David Bailey would go in the top spots. Such projections were spot on and accurate. However, enough from us, enjoy looking over all the picks below.
