Sha’Carri Richardson Wins the 100m Qualifying for the Paris Olympics!
She is HER! Not only is this stylish, speedy athlete on her way to compete in the 2024 Summer Games; but she is going into the global sports spotlight as the fastest woman in the world! The amazing Sha’Carri Richardson wins the 100m qualifying for the Paris Olympics.
She didn’t get off to the best start right off the blocks. But she made up for it in pure talent and determination. Gaining ground, and ultimately surpassing everyone on the track in order to join Team USA.
And she got the job done in record speed. She posted a time of 10.71. Which is the fastest time for a woman recorded this year. Officially earning her a trip to France where the women start racing Aug. 2.
So then, how does Richardson feel now that she is on the team? And how does she hope to inspire others with her performance, mindset and example? Sha’Carri reveals,
“I feel honored. I feel every chapter I’ve been through in my life prepared me for this moment.
The emotion was just joy because of the hard work I put in, not just physically on the track, but mentally and emotionally to grow into the mature young lady I am today.
I’d say the message I’m sending out is to believe in yourself no matter what. You want to remain solid in yourself. Stay grounded in yourself and your hard work. [But for me personally] I just know that if I execute and run the race I’m trained to prepare for that the time will come with it.”

Very nice thoughts Richardson. Furthermore, they always say that the company that you keep is extremely important in life. And that you become like the closest individuals to you. Well, during the 100m Olympic trials race, onlookers got to see the truthfulness of those life observations in full effect.
Two of the runners that Richardson trains and practices with also punched their tickets to Paris. Which is why many were treated to seeing all three women embrace after the results were revealed that the trio are now 2024 Olympians.
