ESPN NFL Analyst Jason McCourty Re-Signed to Multi-Year Exclusive Agreement
He is part of a dynamic duo with a long history in the game of football. He played the game in high school and college ultimately making it to the professional level. For 13 years, he had a productive career in the National Football League. Then he turned to broadcasting after retiring from playing the game. His career at ESPN started in 2024 before the start of the NFL season. Now ESPN NFL analyst Jason McCourty has been re-signed to a multi-year exclusive agreement.
The new contract ensures that McCourty will continue to be a regular contributor to the network’s year-round NFL coverage. He has made a name for himself as a thoughtful and knowledgeable analyst. ESPN made the following announcement regarding McCourty:
“Before the 2026 NFL season kicks off, ESPN re-signed NFL analyst Jason McCourty to a new multi-year agreement, ensuring the Super Bowl champion remains a key contributor across the network’s year-round NFL coverage. As part of his new deal, McCourty will appear exclusively on ESPN, including throughout the NFL season.”
“Entering his third season with ESPN, McCourty will continue contributing across the company’s expansive NFL portfolio, regularly appearing on signature studio shows including NFL Live, Get Up, First Take and SportsCenter, while providing analysis and insight throughout the NFL season and beyond, as the company prepares for its historic first presentation of the Super Bowl in February 2027.”
Since he has proved his worth on the ESPN network there may be potential for him to also contribute to the NFL network platforms. NFL Network veterans like Ian Rapoport and Rich Eisen have already done some crossover work. So, McCourty could be joining them in doing so in the future.

Although Jason entered into broadcasting first, he was later joined by his twin brother Devin McCourty. Devin connected with the NBC Football Night in America crew and has added his football knowledge to the show. During their playing careers the twins had the privilege of playing together for the New England Patriots. In January 2019, Jason McCourty started in the first playoff game appearance of his career. The next month the Patriots went on to win Super Bowl LIII 13-3 against the Los Angeles Rams.
The two brothers were thrilled to have the opportunity to play together on the same team. Previously Jason had not experienced the winning and success with the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns or Miami Dolphins that he did with the Patriots. Now he is winning again off the field with his new broadcast agreement. Perhaps one day he and his twin brother Devin will have their own ESPN or NFL Network show together!
