WNBA Finals 2023: The Celebrities Are Coming Out in Full Force!
The Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty continue to battle it out during the WNBA Finals 2023 showdown. But, they are not doing it all alone. Each game they are getting plenty of love and support from a number of famous faces!
From other athletes to iconic musical artists, the WNBA Finals are currently the place to be. Celebrities are coming out in droves in order to root and cheer on the likes of Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones. Case in point, Game Three.
During Game Three presented by YouTube, court side was PACKED. Here’s just a small sample size of some of the notable attendees:

Robin Roberts must of really enjoyed herself. For immediately after the game she hops on social media to say,
“Electric atmosphere and crowd was absolutely incredible! We were treated to an exciting matchup. The NY Liberty victory sets up Game 4 Wednesday night and I’m sure Barclays Center will be rocking again!”

Moreover, even the city of New York itself is getting in on all of the WNBA appreciation. After Liberty’s big Game Three win over the Vegas Aces (87-73) the Empire State Building switched up from its regular lighting. The renown building stated, “Seafoam green for the next hour in celebration of the New York Liberty’s big win tonight!” Epic.
Additionally, New York’s governor, Kathy Hochul, also took a moment to share a few words of encouragement and support. She says, “The New York Liberty making New York proud🗽. Let’s keep it going!”
As one can see, this is a very refreshing outlook and moment for women’s sports. Every year additional sports enthusiasts are embracing and backing female led squads. This movement is so important because more support will only help to increase revenue, audience attendance (in person as well as in television viewers); expand the brand, and create more opportunities for female athletes.
