It is not easy saying goodbye. Sometimes it is better to just say, “I’ll see you later.” That is definitely the vibes between two former teammates. The Warriors Steph Curry posted a goodbye message to Klay Thompson who is now a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
Yesterday, news hit that after 13 seasons Klay would no longer be playing for Golden State. A franchise that he helped contribute to and win four NBA titles. Thompson signed a 3 year contract with the Mavs for $50 million.
Nonetheless, Curry and Thompson share a LOT of history due to playing with each other for over a decade. And even gaining a nickname for their dynamic shooting and scoring (especially when it comes to three point shots). The Splash Brothers.

On Tuesday, Curry finally broke his silence. He took to social media platform, Instagram, to share a heartfelt message to NBA fans about Klay Thompson’s Warriors legacy and departure. Steph Curry states,
Gonna miss you Klay Thompson
Even though we won’t finish the journey together, what we did will never be done again. Couldn’t have imagined a better run with you and Draymond Green.
Changed the whole Bay Area.
Changed the way the game is played. Killa Klay at the center of it all. Thank you for everything bro. Go enjoy playing basketball and doing what you do.

Nice. Yes, Klay and Steph were more than teammates. More than friends. They are brothers bound together by a winning legacy and devotion to the game that they both love.
We are sure both men desire to work towards getting a fifth championship. It’s just that they will have to win them on separate teams instead of together. However, no matter what the future holds for these two amazing ballers we are confident that they will continue to play extremely hard for their respective teams and continue to cheer each other on.
