Unrivaled Women’s Basketball League Schedule

On Wednesday, some exciting news emerged from the women’s 3×3 realm. The Unrivaled Women’s Basketball League schedule was released to the public as well as additional info on all the teams. Giving fans a better idea and sense on how the season shall go.

While it was also officially announced that Indiana Fever superstar and WNBA sensation, Caitlin Clark, would not be participating in Unrivaled’s inaugural season. There are still plenty of talents and fan favorites involved with the new league. As CBS reports,

“Unrivaled, which was cofounded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier to give players an alternative to going overseas in the offseason, will tip off its inaugural season on Jan. 17 in Miami. 

The league will feature 36 of the top players in the world, with the likes of Jewell Loyd, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Brittney Griner, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and Angel Reese and more joining Stewart and Collier.”

We would also like to throw out there that Aces’ Kate Martin, Sparks’ Rickea Jackson, Fever’s Aliyah Boston and 2024 All Star MVP Arike Ogunbowale will also lend their talents to the 3×3 league. If you loved watching them in the WNBA, you will love seeing them playing 3-on-3 games. So then, it will definitely be exciting to see all these players battle on the court next year!

But what is also cool is that the season will begin in mid January 2025. When the NFL is winding down. So if you still want plenty of sports, you’ll have the NBA, NHL and Unrivaled to keep your TV screens company.

The league’s season is just 8 weeks. So every game is meaningful. In the end, 4 teams will make the semifinals, a do or die one game only contest. And then the final two teams remaining will play for the title.
