UConn Star Azzi Fudd Has Signed a Deal With Jordan Brand

Her college team finished the regular season undefeated (plus 2026 Big East Champion) and now this rising basketball standout just scored a major win off the court as well. What went down? Well, UConn star Azzi Fudd has just signed a deal with Jordan Brand.

Fudd received a warm welcome as the deal was announced on Friday via Instagram. The brand stated, “Get buckets. Serve looks. Put the world on notice. Welcome to the fam.”

Although, this contract is currently considered as a NIL deal, in the future it will expand to more. As confirmed by Sole Retriever, Fudd’s deal with Jordan Brand is a multi-year agreement that will extend into her professional career. Good for her and good for women’s sports.

Furthermore, Fudd is very excited to partner with Jordan Brand, mentioning that even just being associated with the entity is inspiring to her. She says,

“I grew up watching what the Jumpman meant to basketball and to the culture around the game, so becoming part of the Jordan Brand family represents what I am stepping into and the greatness that I aspire to be.

For me, it’s about honoring that legacy while also helping show what the next generation of women’s basketball looks like. I’m excited to keep pushing my game forward while representing Jordan Brand with pride.”

Well said Azzi. Nevertheless, this newest development regarding Fudd also helps to finally put a longtime rumor to rest. And it has to do with Under Armour and Steph Curry. Two parties that have finally went their own separate ways.

What caused the split boiled down to a plethora of reasons, with one being UA’s lack of pursuit when it came to Azzi Fudd. Despite many years of assumptions, Azzi Fudd was NEVER under contract with Curry Brand or Under Armour. Sources revealed towards the end of 2025, that Steph’s frustration with UA not pursuing her was real and longstanding.

And now with Jordan Brand swooping in and scooping her up; you can easily see why Curry had wanted her connected with him and UA. But now, that is all history. Fudd now joins Sarah Strong and WNBA’s Naphessa Collier as some of the newest female basketball members.
