With a third of the season already in the books. We thought it would be fun to take a quick look at who is hitting the most bombs so far this year. While of course, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani may come quickly to mind; you may not be aware of some of the other big bats around the league. So then, let’s catch you up, here are the Top 15 Home Run Leaders of 2025 Season—Through May 28th Games.

While it is still kind of hard to know which teams will have the big showdown in the World Series. It is interesting to note the Detroit Tigers currently have the most wins of the season. They have 37 wins thus far with the New York Yankees trailing them with 35 wins in the American League.

Nevertheless, the Tigers do not have the number one guy, the top player with most home runs. They also only have one player that has made the Top 15 on this particular leaderboard. And he’s not in the Top 10.

Whereas four teams that are leading their divisions have a home run leader in the Top 5. The Phillies, Yankees, Dodgers and Mariners. This just shows that one stat does not tell the whole story, truth or picture. Yes, we may love to review boards, look over statistics; but watching and seeing things with our own eyes really helps put all the points and perspectives together.
