Tom Brady MLB all being in the same sentence may seem odd to anyone born after 2005. However, the undisputed GOAT’s baseball history is still intriguing. He WAS in fact drafted meaning that Brady isn’t just some one trick athletic pony; he’s in every essence, one the greatest sports anomalies of all time.
Before the days of collecting 7 pieces of hardware in the NFL; back in the 90’s Brady caught the eye of pro scouts. Like seriously, no surprise there. Nevertheless, his talents, abilities, mental toughness, and strong arm did not go unnoticed.
Tom made waves on his baseball team in high school. He was a student at Junipero Serra High in San Mateo, California. However, one of the facts that most fans wish to know in this little story; is just what position on the diamond did Brady play at?
Well, wonder no more. Brady was a catcher. And he was good. How good? Well, in 1995 he hit the Major League Baseball draft.
The team? The Montreal Expos. The pick? Brady’s legend grew as he became the 507th overall pick in the 18th round.
Yes, the dude we would all come to see win 7 Super Bowls was a power-hitting catcher that literally got drafted for professional baseball. You can’t make this stuff! It’s just too epic.

So then, what can we learn from all of this? Basically, that Tom Brady is truly The Man. But also, he is just a pure athlete. A multi-dimensional talent that obviously was meant to be great one way or another.
However, the real burning question, is if he still has it? Can Tom still slug it like no one’s business. Well, since it is Brady that we are talking about here; it would not be surprising.
Even at age 45 he’s still a threat and one of the BEST QB’s in the National Football League. Like Brady could honestly retire with 8, 9 or even 10 rings. And none of us would bat an eye; be surprised or think it was not plausible. He’s that much of a beast.
Nevertheless, back to the question at hand. Does he still possess any baseball skills? He does.
