Steph Curry Says Fans Have Seen Final Dunk of His Career

The Chef has been cooking and giving NBA enthusiasts exactly what they have been wanting. A SHOW. Hitting beyond half court threes, becoming the All Star MVP and giving defenses a headache. Furthermore, during a game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State’s icon did something the masses hadn’t seen him do in over half a decade. A glorious DUNK. However, during an interview after the matchup, Steph Curry says fans have seen the final dunk of his career.

So then, if his declaration proves to be true, what an era. It had been awhile since we got to enjoy one from him. And it was worth the wait for his knees to feel up to it.

Furthermore, it was noticeable that Stephen was a bit tired and slightly banged up. During the game Steph sat with ice bags on various parts. But that didn’t prevent him from almost putting up 30 points.

Which is amazing that he had that much juice in him. Just the game before he had himself another WILD February 27th. A day he’s known for going OFF on the court. Against the Orlando Magic and with his mom in the audience; Steph Curry scored a whopping 56 points, with 12 threes.

On that same day in the past, Curry put up 54 points in 2013; and 46 points in 2016. So he’s literally showing that he is getting better as the seasons tick by. Aging like fine basketball wine.

Nonetheless, getting back to his last 50+ point game. Curry now has the most 50+ point games after turning 30 years old in NBA History. And finds himself only behind Michael Jordan for most 40+ point games after turning age 30. Jordan had 44, while Steph now has 39.

His “final” dunk against Philly was a wide open one-handed beauty thanks to a steal by Hield. Even though the Warriors did not win the game, you still went away feeling you had watched a legend do his thing. Are you now wondering to yourself… how many times has Steph Curry dunked during his career? Well, to answer that, Curry recorded his 27th career regular-season dunk.

But as mentioned, after the game he made it clear that that was it. Steph simply says, “That will probably be my last dunk. I’m calling it right now. That was the last one you’re going to see.” Seriously everyone, treasure all these moments while he is still playing.
