Seahawks Soared to Victory on Monday Night Football
It was a tough night for the New York Giants. Their fans watched as the Seahawks soared to victory on Monday Night Football. Although they made some mistakes the Seahawks kept control of the game. At one point Geno Smith suffered a knee injury during the second quarter. Drew Lock came in and marched the Seahawks down the field. Most of the yardage came on a 51 yard pass to Noah Fant down to the 1 yard line. That was quickly followed by a touchdown. The Seahawks took a 14-3 lead into the half.
The second half of the game just got worse for the Giants. Daniel Jones was intercepted by Devon Witherspoon and ran it back for a 97 yard touchdown. Jones was intercepted again in the fourth quarter resulting in a field goal for the Seahawks. The Giants tried to convert a 4th and 5 but Jones was sacked.
It was a tough night for Daniel Jones. Protection by his offensive line was minimal. He was hurried, harassed, and hunted all night long. As a result he made some bad and panicked decisions. But he made some plays with his legs. He rushed 10 times for 66 yards which was more than the running backs combined.
Head coach Brian Daboll was seen throwing a tablet on the sideline while talking to his quarterback. It’s indicative of the frustration felt by him, the players, and especially their fans. Daniel Jones was sacked 11 times, threw 2 interceptions, and had 2 fumbles. Drastic improvements are needed all across the team if they hope to win some games.
Side Note: Geno Smith was able to return to the game. And with the bye week they hope his knee will be completely healed. It looks like the Seahawks avoided a catastrophe.

In other news, Patriots OLB Matthew Judon suffered a biceps injury. He will need surgery and is expected to be out for two months. Also, their rookie CB Christian Gonzalez suffered a dislocated shoulder. He is currently “out indefinitely.”
Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns was seen in a walking boot after the Ravens game. However, he expects to play after their upcoming bye week. Finally, it seems there is a chance OLB Von Miller will suit up on Sunday. The Bills linebacker hasn’t played since tearing his ACL in November 2022. Not that the Bills need the help but the more the merrier I say.
