They have made some moves and decisions, but the latest is to lockdown a cornerstone of their organization. It has been announced that the Raiders have signed Maxx Crosby to a 3-Year $106.5 million extension making him now the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter helped to confirm the news. Discussing the extension along with its historical nature. He says,
“Las Vegas Raiders are signing Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to a three-year, $106.5 million extension that includes $91.5 guaranteed, making him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, per sources.
For the third time in four years, the Raiders are addressing the contract of their cornerstone player, this time cementing his relationship with the Raiders for the foreseeable future. The deal was negotiated by CJ LaBoy and Doug Hendrickson of Wasserman.”

Back in January Pete Carroll was named Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. Carroll enters his 31st season in the NFL. Carroll brings 170 career wins and 18 seasons as an NFL head coach with him to the Las Vegas Raiders. Therefore, he’s bringing plenty of experience to the silver and black franchise.
Regarding the future with Pete Carroll in the Raiders organization and his own mindset moving forward. Crosby says, “Once Coach Carroll got the job, we’re already breaking balls back and forth. Coach Carroll is one of the best to ever do it. It’s not about what I’ve done, but what I’m going to do.”
