Plenty of Early Sunday Action in Week 11

Plenty of Early Sunday Action in Week 11

There’s plenty of early action in week 11 Sunday games. Teams you might not have expected to win today did. However, I don’t think anyone expected Dallas to lose to Carolina… and they didn’t. In fact they blew them out 33-10 and improved to a 7-3 record.

However, the Panthers couldn’t move the ball and only gained 187 total yards. Moreover, some may not have expected the Browns to beat the Steelers. But the Browns this week, are THEM.

In the second battle of the AFC North this week Cleveland found a way to win. Despite the loss of their starting quarterback DeShaun Watson. Dorian Thompson-Robinson or DTR stepped up in his place. He played well enough and only had one interception.

Furthermore, the low-scoring affair featured plenty of rushing but not much passing. With :05 on the clock the Browns kick the game-winning field goal.

In an NFC North match up the Lions and the Bears battled. However, in true Bears fashion they blew the 3rd quarter lead they had. Which was really bad because the Lions had a 3rd quarter kickoff fumbled leading to a touchdown by the Bears.

That was followed by a Lions interception which led to a field goal for the Bears. Yet the Lions rallied scoring two touchdowns and a safety. Edging out the Bears 26-31, the Lions are now 8-2.

The Chargers traveled to Green Bay and lost another close game. In fact they have lost more games by 4 points or less than any other team this season. However, Jordan Love threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns giving the Packers a 20-23 victory.

NFL Games Early in Week 11

The Houston Texans continue to surge, winning 16-21 over the Arizona Cardinals. On the other hand the Titans continue to backslide. However, I believe they were facing an angry Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars. After their embarrassing loss last week to the 49ers the Jaguars no doubt wanted redemption. And they got it with a 14-34 home win.

In other surprising news the Giants beat the Commanders 31-19. Giants QB Tommy Devito threw three touchdowns. Conversely, QB Sam Howell threw three interceptions. Turnovers matter.

Last but not least the Raiders traveled to Miami. The Raiders had chances to win in the fourth quarter. However, I think they put too much stock in QB Aidan McConnell. He was off on some of his throws. On short downs they passed the ball when they could have run it for a yard or two. So they lost 13-20. More updates to follow later on all the Sunday action.
