On Monday, the Baltimore Orioles announced a Tupac Bobblehead giveaway on May 8th vs the Athletics. Major League Baseball took to social media to spread the message and confirm the news by simply stating, “The Orioles will give away a Tupac bobblehead at their game on May 8th vs the Athletics.”

Nonetheless, if you are a sports and music enthusiast, you probably already know why this giveaway is perfect. But just in case you don’t, we’ll fill in the details. Better thought, we’ll just let Orioles themselves do it. Regarding their Tupac giveaway the franchise reveals,

“On May 8th, we’re celebrating the life and legacy of legendary rapper and actor Tupac Shakur.

Before becoming a global icon, Shakur lived in Baltimore from 1984–88. He attended Baltimore School of the Arts, studying acting and poetry — a formative chapter that helped shape the artist he’d become.”

Very cool. Now while Tupac is hard to nail down as to whether or not a particular sports team was his favorite. One thing is for sure; he LOVED to wear all sorts of sports gear. From jerseys to baseball caps, he donned a plethora of looks.
