Talk about success that goes to infinity and beyond! The NFL Toy Story Football Game ratings are blasting pass typical audience numbers; and went skyrocketing through the roof thanks to television networks and streaming service viewership. Will this adorable game version lead to more in the future?

So far, all signs point to a resounding YES. The stats look good. And the interest is high. Furthermore, Pixar Toy Story character, Andy, and his imagination of a NFL game captured nostalgic hearts and those of a new generation. Just how many?

Thanks to a live broadcast of the animated game on kids network Nickelodeon as well as CBS; the football game had over 30 million tune in! To put that in perspective; last year (2022) around 99 million watched the Super Bowl. Therefore, about 1/3 of that total decided to get up early Sunday morning to watch a showdown between the Falcons and Jaguars in Andy’s room with Woody; Buzz Lightyear as well as other beloved Toy Story characters.

Not bad for a regular season game, or since these stats don’t include those catching it on Disney+ and other streaming platforms. Also, exposing the NFL to a younger generation helps to create the fans of tomorrow. By the time these awesome kids grow up there is a good chance they will be football fans. Therefore, all the extra work, money and time is beneficial to the NFL; especially, if it means already having a large built in audience for years to come.
