Men’s Gymnastics Final Recap at 2024 Paris Olympics
They got on that podium. They got that medal. And in our Men’s Gymnastics Final Recap at 2024 Paris Olympics; we’ll tell you exactly how!
The men’s gymnastics team got off to a hot start right out the gate. They started their rotation in the final on Vault. Paul Juda, Brody Malone and Asher Hong all put on a clinic. Paul was first and Brody went second, and both stuck the landing! NO movement!
Next up, Asher Hong. Like Simone Biles, Asher’s vault is the most difficult and extremely dangerous. However, he lands it with just the smallest hop. Amazing. At the end of Vault the United States lead.
Now on to parallel bars. Brody Malone’s performance before the dismount is flawless. No stuck landing, but that is the only small deduction. Then, it is Frederick Richard’s turn. And it is another amazing routine, on the dismount he almost sticks it! A hop of inches, but he still scores extremely well.
Last to go is Asher Hong. Once again, the man did not come to play. He does a sick one hand move (three times) then the dismount. STICKS IT. The USA is moving on still in a position to compete for a medal.
Their next event is the high bar. Now in the standings, China possesses a slight lead, placing Team USA in second. But there is still a few rotations to go. Paul Juda, Frederick Richard go first. Juda flies high to another amazing score and Richard leaves everyone breathless with gravity defying routine and stuck landing. Brody Malone’s routine is also exhilarating and he too sticks it.
Surprisingly, the United States falls to third in the standings. Then back to second. Then all the way to fourth. Strange since unlike some of the other countries, the USA hadn’t had any falls or serious, easy to spot glaring flaws. However, Team USA powered on.
During floor routine the team is still brilliant. With Frederick sticking almost every landing. But the scores once again did not reflect the effort and awesome execution.

Last rotation up is pommel horse. Once again, each American executes with precision. With their specialist Stephen Nedoroscik sealing the deal and clinching a medal for the USA. Their first team medal since 2008!
What a day for men’s gymnastics. And congratulations to Stephen, Frederick, Paul, Asher and Brody. With the weight of medaling on their shoulders, they got the job done!
