This season so far is one historic streak after another. The Tampa Bay Rays open the 2023 season winning 13 straight games. The Rays also have a home run streak going strong with at least one in their first 19 games played. Now, a Mauricio Dubon hitting streak is developing with Dubon even getting more than one hit in numerous games (in 5 games he’s recorded at least 2). He’s red hot, and smoking balls left and right.
This is exactly what the Houston Astros want to see inning after inning from Dubon. Mauricio is taking on being the team’s leadoff guy. In a lineup, this is a very essential and important spot.

Nonetheless, the Astros know how to win and their players know how to contribute. The team is currently 9-10 (last season they won 106 games); yet slowly but surely they are putting the pieces together. Yes, Houston is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, the outcome every team is vying for; to be the 2023 champions and victors.
