Manning Lovers Rejoice Omaha Productions Have Been Extended

If you love a certain pair of related former quarterbacks then prepare to get excited. Manning lovers can now rejoice because Omaha Productions have been extended by ESPN. The Manning brothers will be in business with ESPN through 2034. Originally “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” partnered up in 2021 with a three-year deal. That deal was extended in 2022. However, now the deal has been extended for nine more years. As Adam Schefter posted on X:

“ESPN has reached a nine-year media-rights extension with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, extending the existing partnership into 2034. The deal will see the continuation of the Emmy award-winning Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli, and additional Omaha content such as Peyton’s Places and Eli’s Places.”

If you haven’t had a chance to watch their Monday Night Football show I would recommend it. Besides, giving commentary on the football game, they also have guests on the show. Some guests are more entertaining than others but the Manning brothers do their best to keep everyone engaged. And they also enjoy a lot of trash talk about each other and anyone else they deem worthy. Furthermore, they insist that their guests predict what will happen next once a team is in the redzone. If their prediction is correct a photo of the guest’s head goes on a giant board.

Eli loved torturing his brother with a giant photo Peyton’s head. He is a little self-conscious about the size of his forehead, LOL.

Apparently the show is popular since it won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Live Series in 2022. Peyton also won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Sports Event Analyst in 2023.

Omaha Productions has also produced a four-part documentary series. Featuring Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, South Carolina’s Kamilla Cardoso and UCLA’s Kiki Rice it’s an all-access journey through the 2023-24 season. With all the hype surrounding women’s college basketball this is the perfect time for the documentary. It premieres on May 11 and 12 on ABC and ESPN+.

So the successful reign of the Manning brothers will continue off the field. Even if you hated them when they were playing you can’t help but to love them now. With their live football show and their original content there is plenty to enjoy. So congrats on the extension deal and we’ll see you in the fall!
