With a win over Detroit this week, Lebron James moves closer to 40,000 career points.
40K. That’s astronomical. The closest guy to putting up that kind of number is currently around 12k career points short. Therefore, right now, James is seriously in his own league.
No one is on his level when it comes to scoring. Nevertheless, where is Lebron at in his quest for 40k? Well, during his final game before the 2024 All Star festivities; James put up 25 points; helping the Lakers to win over the Detroit Pistons (February 13), 125-111.
This brought the King to a total of 39,868. Meaning he’s just 132 points away from holding another athletically insane title. And he’s earned it, every step and basket of his career.
