Kylie Kelce Surpassed Joe Rogan For Number One Podcast on Spotify and Apple Charts

Now this is wild. This funny, straight shooter, mom and wife is following in the successful footsteps of her husband and brother in law; and is absolutely WINNING. How great is she doing with her latest project? Well, Kylie Kelce just surpassed Joe Rogan for the number one podcast on the Spotify and Apple charts.

No, the sentence you just read is not some typo. Jason’s significant other hit Joe Rogan levels. And what’s even crazier and more impressive; is that she accomplished such a feat after just ONE episode.

Nevertheless, seeing another podcast gain popularity is not too surprising; especially since the audience for such content and media continues to rise. According to Loopex Digital, “By 2023, there were over 464 million podcast listeners worldwide, projected to reach 504.9 million by 2024.”

Loopex was definitely barking up the right tree by stating listeners would reach 504 million. In fact, 2024 actually has beat that projection. Back in September Backlinko had revealed the latest figures and statistics for podcasts mentioning, “[The] number of podcast listeners worldwide reached 546.7 million in 2024, showing a 7.85% year-over-year increase.”

So then, the Kelce family all have a solid foot in a growing industry. There are millions of listeners and all a podcaster has to do is cipher off a portion of them to make a nice living; or in many cases, a very lucrative career. Jason and Travis’ podcast has been fan favorite and major hit since its inception.

The Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast quickly acquired 1.5 million followers in the show’s first five months. And as of August 2024 the podcast had 11.2 million followers/subscribers, with less than 100 episodes. Doing such big numbers is what helped Travis and Jason to ink a $100 million Wondery deal.

Why did Kylie decide to start a podcast? For one thing, she enjoys it. However, another factor is that her family is highly talked about. Mrs Kelce states,

“I’m just as shocked as all of you that I’m starting a podcast, but if everyone’s going to talk about me and my family, you might as well hear it from me.”

Makes sense. Yet, what can listeners expect from Kylie’s podcast? Her YouTube page reveals,

“Join Kylie each week on Not Gonna Lie, as she shares her personal story beyond being just a “football wife,” setting the record straight on gossip and speaking her truths on topics like modern parenting, social media trends, women in sports and more. Plus, each episode features Kylie sitting down for revealing conversations with special guests across pop culture, sports and entertainment.”

Very nice. And we are sure Kylie is thrilled about this early success. It’s going to be a tough task to keep beating Joe Rogan. But to even accomplish that once, in one week is quite the achievement. Congratulations Kylie.
