In recent times we have seen top prospect in the class of 2024, Kiyomi McMiller become the first high school athlete to sign with Jordan Brand. Also have witnessed Zachariah and Zion Branch sign on as the first college football players to ink contracts with the apparel and sneakers giant. However, now it is time for a whole new crop of talent and rising stars to emerge as the faces of tomorrow and of the iconic sportswear entity. Jordan Brand Basketball is debuting its NIL Class of 2025 which includes Sarah Strong and Kiyan Anthony. An elite group of NIL athletes and hoopers who represent the future of the game and the next generation of the Jordan Brand family.

First up, is Syracuse freshman Kiyan Anthony. We’re pretty the last name is ringing a bell. Yes, Kiyan now joins his father, Carmelo, as Jordan Brand endorsed athletes. Keeping the legacy alive and literally in the family. On carrying the torch Kiyan states,

To be part of the Jordan Brand family, to me, means carrying on a legacy. I want my legacy to be more than just basketball. I want it to be on and off the court, giving back to the community, doing everything I can to uphold my last name and carry the torch.”

Nice. This year’s signings also includes Sarah Strong. A UConn superstar who won gold at the 2024 FIBA U18 AmeriCup; a 2025 National Championship and is in the history books for a number of achievements as a freshman. A few of these accomplishments are:

  • Freshman record holder for rebounds (356)
  • Ranks No. 2 for UConn freshmen in points (657), just the second Husky after Maya Moore to score 600+ points as a rookie
  • No. 2 for UConn freshmen in assists (142) and steals (92)
  • NCAA record holder for most points in an NCAA Tournament by a freshman (114)

With this kind of a talent it’s no surprise why Jordan Brand sought her out. On securing her NIL deal Strong mentions, “Being part of Jordan Brand is honestly a huge honor. Jordan is a symbol of greatness and confidence, so being part of the family feels very surreal.”

Besides Strong and Anthony there also are Duke freshmen, Cameron and Cayden Boozer. The Boozer twins are the sons of Duke legend Carlos Boozer, who helped lead the Blue Devils to a 2001 National Championship. On signing with Jordan Brand, Cayden says,

There are so many great players who have been a part of the Jordan Brand family, and being able to align myself with those greats is an amazing opportunity. Like they did for me, I want to set an example for the next generation, working to reach my maximum potential on the court while being a good role model in the community.”

Wonderful. And we have to agree with Cayden’s sentiments. This is a great opportunity for these student athletes. Moreover, we are excited to watch as this newest class continues Jumpman’s push to elevate the next generation of sport and culture.
