Jaguars Trevor Lawrence and Travis Hunter Star in New Adidas Campaign
It is a brand new NFL season. Which means it is also time for some brand new sportswear ads and commercials. The three stripes brand is among the first to not only celebrate the season commencing, but the dawn of a new Jacksonville era. Featuring a former first round draft pick (2021) and a recent Heisman winner. Yes, Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence and Travis Hunter star in a new Adidas campaign.
The new ad has some length to it. Being longer than the standard 30 seconds. This new Adidas commercial clocks in at around one minute. With the official version released for social media consumption being at 61 seconds.
Adidas, which both athletes are signed to, provided both players a chance to show off their fun side and personalities. Dancing around (with Deniece Williams’ “Let’s Hear it for the Boy” playing), stretching, watching film and having a great time at practice. The 1984 movie “Footloose” inspired the new adidas ad; with the campaign’s core belief that we all need someone to make us believe.
At a press conference on Thursday, Lawrence even joked about his part in the ad. Trevor states, “That was one of the first times I got to spend some time with Travis. We shot it back in the offseason, so it was a lot of fun. He’s got a lot more, I guess, personality than I do so he kind of carried the team in that one. I left it all out there… Travis’ got more personality than I do. It was more than I wanted to, but it was good.” Hey, at least he tried right?
Nevertheless, the Adidas campaign has some very positive vibes to it. It was like an awesome behind the scenes view of Hunter and Lawrence getting to know each other. And coming together to be great friends and teammates. It even features Travis Hunter hitting a backflip and the same handshake the pair did while training in the Bahamas.

Therefore, it looks like Travis and Trevor have a good working relationship forming; and are helping each other “to believe” in the team’s season. Lawrence even discussed the future and playing alongside Hunter. He mentions,
“It’s still the beginning of hopefully a long time playing together,” Lawrence said of Hunter. “It’s been awesome, he’s a guy that is easy to talk to, to work with, he wants to be great, wants to get better, running routes after practice, doing all the little things.
I’m more worried about him on offense. Not as in, I don’t want him to play defense. I’m just worried about what we’re trying to do on offense and staying focused on that, but it will be cool to see him. It’ll be cool to see him doing both. Haven’t seen that, so it’ll be pretty cool.”
Well, both of these athletes seem like great guys. So then, you can’t help but root for them. Therefore, we hope they have a great season and career together.
