Now with their season being officially over many changes as well as questions begin to arise. Questions such as, is Dusty Baker retiring?

Baker is arguably one of the best managers in the MLB; who helped change the atmosphere in Houston while dealing with scandal and outside criticism. Despite such a cloud hanging overhead, Dusty is able to power through and helm the Astros ship to glory. Winning a championship in 2022.

Furthermore, this type of success shocks no real baseball fan; since Dusty is a true class act with long history and career in the MLB. As a player, he was fantastic. In 19 seasons of professional play, the former outfielder retires as a .278/.347/.432 hitter with 242 home runs and 1,981 hits. Being apart of the Braves, Giants, Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations.

As player he would not only play in the World Series; he would walk away as a champion. Baker successfully joined the legacy of World Series champs as a Dodger. When they won the big one in 1981.

Nonetheless, Dusty keeps this same winning attitude as a manager. During his managerial tenure 74-year-old Baker, manages for 26 major-league seasons, has a career 2,183-1,862 regular-season record; and snags up 3 pennants along the way.
