When is the Fernando Tatis Jr Return going down? On 4/20. No, we are not joking, our boy really is returning on April 20th!
During last season’s postseason, the San Diego Padres did their job and then some, by going DEEP into the playoffs. The team has said that that was always their goal all along; and they made it happen. With some finesse.
Not only did they take down the Mets with no contest. They went 3-1 against a 111 win team, their “not a rivalry” neighbors up north, the Dodgers. Insert… the “I Can’t Believe This Is My Life” Lebron meme.
Nevertheless, the ultimate WS dream was not to be since the Pads fell to the Phillies in the next series. However, the postseason roll still had winning success. Chunks of time was officially knocked off Fernando’s suspension. Allowing him to return us and the game he loves just that much sooner.

So what can be expected during the long-awaited, yet absolutely exciting Tatis Jr return? Well, for one thing, expect our guy to be in a different position on the field than you may remember him being in many moons ago. Now many are speculating that this movement may be upsetting Tatis. However, such a notion couldn’t be further from the truth.
In a presser, Fernando sincerely went all out to publicly apologize to his team, team owner and fans. Nevertheless, as we all know actions speak louder than words. And Tatis is proving with without a doubt he is ready to be a team player once more, in any way.
The team asked him to move forward with a shoulder surgery. He did it. They also asked him to not go faraway while healing. He has complied.
Moreover, Tatis has been firm about not repeating past mistakes. And guess what good people. He has been in the clear for several months.
He is a guy who is doing everything that is asked of him. Even a surgery that he previously do not want to pursue. Yet, we are supposedly to believe he will have a problem playing a different position? The math is not mathing!
Tatis will come back in whatever capacity the Padres will want to utilize him in; and he is already showing signs that he is with the program. A program that is working overtime to bring the first baseball title home to the city of San Diego. This upcoming season is definitely going to be an
