EA Sports College Football 2024 Release Date
Patience is a quality that is “the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.” Well, all gamers develop this attitude well; because we always have to suffer and wait FOR YEARS for various titles to finally come to fruition. Nevertheless, there’s some good sports gaming news on the horizon. The EA Sports College Football 2024 edition is finally holding to early projections.
There was some speculation and disturbances in the video game realm that there could be some issues with a release date. Lawsuits swirling around, and what not. However, EA insists that now their more concrete plans will hold. The game will be available during the summer season.
Regarding this revelation, an official EA spokesperson confirms,
“We’re incredibly excited to bring back an authentic college football experience for fans and athletes that have shown such passion for the franchise, and we’re looking forward to delivering it in Summer 2024.”
Pretty cut and dry right? No confusion. The game is in fact still coming and will drop in just a few more months.

Nonetheless, as any gamer enthusiast knows… it’s best not to hold your breath. Games take time to develop; but there’s other issues in the background that can cause delays. However, EA says that any player that is apart of the future edition will be paid; and that the game itself will be worth the wait for those who truly love College Football.
Daryl Holt, the vice president and general manager of EA Sports discussed the release date and efforts being put into it with ESPN’s Michael Rothstein. Holy told Rothstein,
“That’s the best date for us (next summer); to bring the game that we think is going to meet or exceed our player expectations, and cover the breadth and scale of what we want in the game. We’re trying to build a very immersive college football experience.
[Any] rumored potential earlier dates of release were conjecture and the game [has not] been pushed or delayed. There is a lot we wanted to work into the game, and we had to start everything from the beginning.
If you look back on where we were talking in 2021, that road was blocked. I think I even said something to the fact that we were passengers on this journey just like anyone else. Well, the road’s open now, but it’s still under construction.”

So those of us hanging in there from the big tease of 2021 (or heck the drought since 2013) , EA Sports states, the waiting period is almost over. A few possible things to look forward to in the game:
- Inclusion of real players– As mentioned, since those who get involved will be paid; some guys may choose to allow their likenesses to be apart of the game.
- A dynasty mode -DUDE! In this mode you get to be the big man in charge and oversee a college’s program. You will oversee recruitment and player development, in order to lead the college team to being the best, and top team in the country.
