DraftKings and 67 Experts Favor Chiefs Over Eagles to Win Super Bowl 2025
It’s that time of the week folks. Prediction time. We are days and hours away from the kickoff of the most globally watched Sports event; but there is only one question on the minds of all. Who will win? Well, interestingly, DraftKings and 67 experts favor the Chiefs over the Eagles to win Super Bowl 2025.
Of course, that’s not a very surprising take. The Chiefs have been on a postseason roll for years now. But Philadelphia should not be underestimated. Come on, have you seen Saquon Barkley?
Nevertheless, there is a lot on the line. For Kansas City and Philadelphia it will result in historic implications. KC could become the sole NFL franchise to ever three-peat; winning three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
Over in Philly, this will help the Birds and Jalen Hurts get “the monkey off their backs.” Hurts would win his first championship and give Philadelphia its second SB win. The Eagle’s Super Bowl 52 victory over the Patriots back in 2018 (where they won 41-33); is its only (and therefore, most recent) Super Bowl win. A win Sunday would strongly indicate that SB 52 wasn’t a flash in the pan; but the Eagles are a franchise that can get it done more than once. And that they wish to continue their winning ways.

So then, what is Vegas and a popular sports network’s collected panel of experts saying about Sunday’s festivities? Well according to FOX Sports,
“Super Bowl 2025 odds: Chiefs remain slight favorites over [the] Eagles. Super Bowl LIX on FOX is set for Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Let’s check out the latest Super Bowl odds via DraftKings Sportsbook as of Feb. 5.
The Kansas City Chiefs at the moment have the best odds in the entire league to win the Super Bowl at -125. The Chiefs squared off against the Buffalo Bills in their last game, winning 32-29. Patrick Mahomes had 245 yards on 18-of-26 passing (69.2%), with one touchdown and no interceptions.”
Got it. Now what about those not putting down money? Well, ESPN did some quick surveying. Here are their findings:
“Of the 67 experts who weighed in, the Chiefs were favored by 41 of them (61.2%), while the Eagles claimed 26 votes (38.8%). We asked ESPN’s NFL analysts, writers, commentators, columnists and pundits to make predictions for the big game. And 63 experts said this game will be decided by a touchdown or less.”
Therefore, what we took away from the data is that the experts feel it will be a tight action-packed game. If the Chiefs do win, it will be a narrow victory. But with this sort of thinking, it means the game could truly go either way. Close games are often decided by one crazy play or penalty. So the Eagles could walk away hoisting a trophy come the 9th. They are definitely not a team to be discounted or thought to be out of it.
