The monster year only continues. And he once more proves why $700 million is not a price too high. The Dodgers Shohei Ohtani picks up his 50th Stolen Base; inching him ever closer to his 50/50 milestone.
Nevertheless, where is Ohtani at in his quest for a 50/50 season? Meaning 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases. Well, on Thursday he now has the 50 SBs on lock; and he is just about there in terms of homers.
Hitting one home run would be a big deal for any of us mere mortals. But Ohtani has done so over 40 times this season. Astounding.
Shohei thus far has hit 49 home runs. He continues to be a modern day Babe Ruth. And it is exciting to see his insane talents and abilities unfold right before our eyes.
