Nonetheless, during the offseason and free agency, Ohtani signed an immensely lucrative contract; vowing to help the LA franchise and city win multiple future championships. Now the two way player has made another important vow that he plans to keep to a very special young lady. Regarding his marriage, Shohei Ohtani excitedly reveals,

Not only have I began a new chapter in my career with the Dodgers but I also have began a new life with someone from my Native country of Japan who is very special to me and I wanted everyone to know I am now married.

As one can see, the 29 year old mentions that he has married a “Japanese woman” without identifying her by name. Nevertheless, he is not going to keep his famdom or us in the dark about it. According to the Associated Press, Shohei says he will reveal more in an interview; presumably at the Los Angeles Dodgers spring training venue.
