This is no small feat for this team. This is a streak that has not been seen in about ten years. A decade in the making, going back to like the 2014-2015 season.

Furthermore, this win keeps the Pistons in a good position as the season heads to its conclusion. Detroit now has a record of 32-26. They are in a three team tie with the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers in terms of wins; but are one game back of the 4 seed.

Nevertheless, this is such a great development for Pistons fans. If you hopped into a time machine and went back to just last season, you would see something much different when it comes to NBA standings. Last year, Detroit found themselves dead last in the Eastern Conference. Actually, they had the least amount of wins than any teams in the west or east. Winning a total of 14 games.

But if the Pistons can hang on this unexpected turn of events for the franchise would definitely fall in the “remarkable” category.

Moreover, whatever is in the water in Detroit it’s got their teams on a tear. We could see the Lions, Pistons, Tigers and Redwings all make the playoffs in this era of sports. Additionally, 2025 has been great to the Pistons. Since January 1st, the basketball franchise is 18-8. This is a team making some noise during the regular season, and it is great to see.
