Denver Broncos Signed Two-Time Pro-Bowl TE Evan Engram To 2-year Deal
Broncos country has even more to cheer about as more roster moves are made and executed. The franchise has made a decision that will allow them to get stronger on the offensive side of the ball. On Wednesday, it was confirmed the Denver Broncos have signed two-time Pro-Bowl TE Evan Engram to a 2-year deal.
Seriously what a great offseason Denver is having right now. And this is BEFORE the draft! They have nicely secured some weapons finally for Bo Nix.
The Broncos have now brought in or secured Engram, Dre Greenlaw and Talanoa Hufanga. Obviously they saw holes on offense and defense. And wanted to fill them and smooth them over expeditiously.
Nevertheless, the news of the Engram signing was confirmed by Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport. Adam mentions, “Broncos are signing two-time Pro-Bowl TE Evan Engram to a two-year deal. Denver has been seeking TE help in recent seasons and now finally has found some.”
Rapoport then followed up with some numbers coming straight from Evan’s agent. Ian reveals, “Former Jaguars TE Evan Engram is signing with the Broncos on a 2-year deal, per agent MikeMcCartney. He gets a 2-year, $23M deal ($11.5M APY) with $16.5M fully guaranteed.”
This is really good news for Denver. A franchise that has really been in need of a good TE option. Engram will help to bring more quality production to the field. Just how much?
Well if you look at the last two NFL seasons, Evan will just about double what Denver is used to in this area. As sports media personality Andrew Mason also reports:
All Broncos tight ends in the last two seasons:
90 catches for 845 yards
Evan Engram in the last two seasons:
161 catches for 1,328 yards (and he missed 8 games)

The Broncos were looking for a chain mover and they got themselves one. If you take a look at Evan Engram among TEs since 2022:
234 receptions (2nd)
2,094 receiving yards (5th)
97 first downs (6th)
Really all what Denver really needs to worry about is staying healthy. Some of their additions are prone to injury. However, if they can mitigate this particular issue they could find themselves in serious contention.
Last season the Broncos barely made the playoffs and were quickly bounced. Hopefully these off-season reinforcements will help give them more of a power punch on the field. Plus, it will be interesting to see what Denver selects in the upcoming draft. In our estimation it would be a good time to grab a wide receiver.
