Dallas Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb Getting His Own Nike Zoom Vapor Pro 1 Sneaker
He’s been a pass-catching threat and favored wide receiver of Dak Prescott for awhile now. The Cowboys chose to extend his contract last August to show their confidence in his playmaking abilities. They then went on to trade for wide receiver George Pickens to form a lethal duo with their star receiver. But the good times keep on rolling for the superstar. It was announced today that Dallas Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb is getting his own Nike Zoom Vapor Pro 1 sneaker.
To start the 2025 season, he will be debuting his first-ever Nike PE (Player Exclusive) cleat. It will include a slime green color. It’s the same color he wore last season for which he was fined by the NFL. Players are not allowed to wear any clothing, uniforms or equipment not sanctioned by the NFL. Unless they get permission first, per NFL policy. But why slime green you ask? Well Soleretriever.com explains it this way:
“Inspiration for the color scheme comes from CeeDee’s long-lasting connections with family, friends, and the next generation of athletes, specifically saluting his way of life. It’s also a direct reference to his affinity for the word slime, another way to refer to a close friend or family member.”
Last season was a tough one for the Cowboys as Prescott went down with an injury and they missed the playoffs. But with his new, exclusive sneaker Lamb can start the 2025 season in high fashion and hopefully help his team get back to the Super Bowl. A place they haven’t been to since 1996.

So Nike released a video on Instagram about the sneaker which you can see for yourself here. The reference to number 88 is not only Lamb’s jersey number. But it also reminds me of Back to the Future where the DeLorean time machine had to reach 88 mph to time travel. Will CeeDee’s new cleats send us all back to the future lol?
At any rate, if you’re itching to get your hands on a pair you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer. The CeeDee Lamb x Nike Zoom Vapor Pro 1 Slime will release on June 11, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $150 and $47, respectively.
