Cowboys Jerry Jones Wants to Retire as NFL Owner That Won Most Super Bowls

This is my first time in my life I’ve been disappointed.” Thus, lamented the owner of the Dallas organization after taking a moment to contemplate his feelings as well as thoughts of the 2025 7-9-1 season. But Jones still has goal(s) for himself and his franchise. In fact, the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants to retire as the NFL owner that won the most Super Bowls.

Yes, it’s always good to have goals. They are a useful strategy in moving forward towards success. However, how realistic are Jerry’s particular retirement aspirations? Well, the owner with the most Super Bowl wins currently is the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft.

Thanks to the legendary Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era; Kraft was able to garner 6 championships. All during the glory years of 2002 to 2019. Plus, with Drake Maye at the helm Robert could be on his way to winning yet another title.

Nevertheless, Jerry wants to be the top dog in this particular regard. Therefore, how many championships does Jones have? Three.

During his press on Wednesday, Jerry Jones candidly discussed this goal as a NFL owner. He mentions, “My goal in life is to retire as the owner to win the most Super Bowls… How many does Bob have, 6? I’ve got work to do. I want more. I want our fans to know how much this means to me. … want to win football games.”

So then, what’s the next steps for the Cowboys? How does Jones want to move forward now and in the future? Jerry spoke laid things out stating,

“We want to get out here and do better than we did this year. (There’s) the incentive to, dare I say it, bust the budget to try to get something done now? Yes. Yes.

We’ll do some dramatic things. That was a dramatic thing we did (trading Micah Parsons). We didn’t do it not to win games. The point is, this calls for some pretty controversial decisions.

We’re gonna keep this thing as good as we can possibly be. Finances are no object. We’re gonna make it as entertaining as we can and keep it as lively as we can for everybody.”

Very interesting. Some other business discussed is that Dallas is interested in signing dynamic running back Javonte Williams to a multi-year deal; and of course, wide receiver George Pickens. Additionally, the Cowboys expect to begin submitting interview requests for possible defensive coordinators; for those who are under contract, at some point this week.
