Commanders Terry McLaurin Only NFL Wide Receiver to Play All Team’s Games Last Four Years

On this football Sunday we reflect on something that is extremely valuable to teams: Reliability. Having a guy that can stay healthy, focused and consistent is a real asset. The Washington franchise  has such a guy. In fact, the Commanders Terry McLaurin is the only NFL wide receiver to play all his team’s games the last four years.

That is quite the streak. And an excellent constant for the O-line. So then, we imagine when the Commanders go through “roll call;” they are probably confident McLaurin is going to answer, “Present.”

Grant Paulsen of DC’s sports talk, 106 The Fan, mentions Terry’s impressive attendance and presence in games. Paulsen states,

“Terry McLaurin is the only WR in the NFL who has played in all 51 of his team’s games over the last four years.

A few other guys have not missed time but have played with multiple teams. No other WR has played in three straight seasons of games with one team without missing.

[Furthermore] Terry McLaurin will look to begin his journey to a 5th straight 1,000 yard season today.

He, Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, Steffon Diggs and Mike Evans are the only guys who have gone for 1K over each of the last 4 seasons.”

There’s plenty of reasons why some players miss games. Mostly due to setbacks such as injuries. Therefore, that makes what McLaurin is doing even more noteworthy. He’s a scary threat on the field, and he is a weapon that the Commanders can utilize frequently because he is always ready to go.

Moreover, Terry McLaurin is a guy with a great work ethic. And he recognizes such traits in his teammates as well. Washington Post NFL reporter, Nicky Jhabvala discussed how Terry feels about QB Jayden Daniels. Jhabvala mentions,

“Terry McLaurin praised Jayden Daniels earlier this week for his talent, work ethic and his ability to galvanize teammates on both sides: ‘He’s kind of calm, cool and collected. But you can tell he kind of, for lack of a better term, he got some sh*t to him.’”

Nice. So we can look forward to hopefully seeing some real magic between this pair this season. But one thing is for sure, if you picked Terry McLaurin for your Fantasy, you can breath a sigh of relief; the guy has a track record for performing well and not missing games. Happy Sunday NFL everyone.
