Jaylen Brown is having an amazing season. He’s been a talking point in numerous MVP discussions. Moreover, Brown has been the best player for the Celtics this season and has delivered tons of performance value on the court, averaging 28.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game in 70 regular-season starts. But truth be told; he’s BEEN nice. There is a reason why Jaylen is a 5-time All-Star, a 2024 NBA Champion, and the Finals MVP. Now he’s set to make more history in Boston. The Celtics Jaylen Brown becomes just the 8th player in Celtics franchise history to reach 2,000 points in a season.

That’s a lot of buckets. But Brown is a success and elite at both ends of the floor. Earlier in the season, Jaylen talked with the media about what he feels personally makes him one of the best in the league. And his leadership was among one of the aspects mentioned. He stated,

“I feel like I’m the best two-way player in the world,” Brown said. “I play both ends of the court night to night. I’m available, which is hard to do. I’m a leader. I help lead my team, empower my team to come out and play confidently. Stuff that doesn’t always show up on the analytics. And I’m a winner.”

What’s also important to note is that there were those that felt that the Boston Celtics were already counted out before the 2025-2026 season even started. Especially, with one of the Celtics star players, Jayson Tatum; recovering from a torn Achilles. However, Brown helped Boston weather this particular storm and many others throughout the season. Demonstrating even more why he is a valuable player to his team.
