She is HER! The legendary Caitlin Clark passes Kelsey Plum as the NCAA Women’s Career Scoring Leader. And she did it FAST. 10 seconds into the game she already had 2 points on the board.
Furthermore, going into the game, Clark only needed 8 measly points to break the record. For her, that’s child’s play and she probably could do it blind folded and with one hand tied behind her back. However, in front of a sold out crowd, Caitlin gets the job done and is met with cheers and tears, by fans, friends, teammates and family.

And put on a show she did! Caitlin broke the record in true icon style, with one of her enormous, infamous threes. The ball goes to Clark and she shoots and it is ALL net, bringing the score to 6-8, over Michigan State.
As many of us figured, Caitlin would waste no time breaking the record. She now is the scoring leader in women’s college hoops and she earned it. Nevertheless, how did Clark end the first quarter? With 23 points in the first 10 minutes. Insane. Congratulations to Caitlin Clark!
