Here’s to the good people who understood the assignment when they got the legendary Michael Jordan; because now Caitlin Clark is nearing a lucrative eight-figure Nike deal; and will more likely than not; also get her own signature shoe. Nike knows exactly what they are doing here. They already have worked with Clark before during her college hoops era. In fact, Clark had an endorsement deal with Nike during her Iowa days, but that deal expired at the end of the 2023-24 college basketball season. So then, they needed to get something new in the works; and Clark is more than worth it.
For instance, on the night of the 2024 WNBA Draft Caitlin’s jersey sold out in almost all sizes, adult and youths; in just one hour. Her jersey is now the biggest selling jersey on draft night by any player and any sport in HISTORY. Therefore, with numbers and stats like that; it is easy to see why Nike is straight up salivating at the thought of locking Caitlin up for good.
She is a moneymaker. An attention grabber. And she is helping to change the very definition and culture of women’s sports.

“Breaking: Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark – the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft – is nearing a lucrative, eight-figure endorsement deal with Nike, per industry sources. Clark is set to receive her own signature Nike shoe.”
