Caitlin Clark Meets Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas After Setting WNBA Record
It was a big BIG night for Clark. A record set just two years ago, was broken yet again thanks to her immense talent. And two Olympian gold medalists were able to see it all go down live and in the flesh. Plus, things only got more iconic; when all three of these sports megastars took one epic picture together when they met up after the game. So then, gather around, grab a beer and let us tell you tale of the night Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark met Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas after setting a WNBA record.
Okay, we will cut the dramatics… for now. Last night, Clark knocked down her 86th three pointer right at the start of the Fever’s game against the Connecticut Sun. This particular basket etched Caitlin’s name once more into WNBA lore. It set the single-season record for most three-pointers by a rookie. Officially breaking a tie with Rhyne Howard. Clark’s hard earned 86 shots from behind the arc this season, surpasses the 85 that Howard hit during her rookie campaign in 2022.
Nonetheless, when the record breaking shot went effortlessly in; the crowd just went wild. And so did two special guests. Three time Olympic gold medalist and track star, Gabby Thomas; as well as the most decorated gymnast in history, Simone Biles. This was the first WNBA game for the Olympians, and they absolutely enjoyed it. They both even said so online:
“First WNBA game of many! Had so much fun supporting these stars!”
“EVERYONE WATCHES WOMENS SPORTS so happy to be able to go support! My first of many WNBA games.”
So then, it sounds like the pair really enjoyed themselves. And plan to support the WNBA in the future. Which is wonderful and only helps to keep growing the league. Great to see you in attendance ladies.

However, the Indiana Fever are heating up faster than a hot pocket. The franchise has now won five of their last seven games. Keeping themselves in the top of the pack and in the playoff race.
Furthermore, their recent win over the Dream also marked the first time that the team had won 14 games in a single season since… checks notes… 2016! After eight years the Fever seem to finally be trending in the right direction. And this shows that the Fever’s first round pick is already paying “dividends.” In ticket sales, merch, media demand and of course, most importantly, on the court.
The Fever currently sit in seventh in the league standings. Top eight teams will advance to the playoffs. If the season ended right now, Indiana would be in. Hopefully, the Fever can continue to hang on.
