Shoes fit for some QUEENS. The ever generous Vanessa Bryant continues with her gifting ways and hooked up some elite athletes for this weekend’s All Star festivities. One baller in particular caught the attention of sneaker heads as she immediately put kicks to foot. During her practice session on Friday, Caitlin Clark Debuts the WNBA All-Star Nike Kobe 6 PE. An exotic pink color way with vivacious green accents.
Bryant earlier in the week had let the exciting surprise out the bag a bit early. She took to social platform, Instagram, to show off the new shoe design specially commissioned for the WNBA All-Star Weekend. In her Stories she posted an image of four pristine pairs of the Kobe 6 PE’s and a simple, bolded caption with star emojis stating, “WNBA ALL STAR.”
At first glance you may think… Reverse Grinches? Not that they are the exact same color, but they do share some of the same characteristics, vibe as well as feel. Nonetheless, the shoes themselves are festive and fun; as well as perfect for the dynamic personalities and style found in the WNBA.
However, if you like what you see and are hoping to get your hands on these sneakers. We got a bit of bad news. Sole Retriever reports, “The Nike Kobe 6 Protro WNBA All-Star PE is set to make its on-court debut during the WNBA All-Star game. Unfortunately for us, the pair will not be seeing a retail release.”
Furthermore, the fact that Vanessa is choosing to use women’s basketball as a marketing vehicle. Only once more proves that the WNBA’s popularity is growing. The powers that be recognize that the league has plenty of eyes now. And they wish to take advantage.

Clark strolled out on the court, all smiles, rocking her very own pair of Kobe 6 PE’s apparently gifted to her by Ms. Bryant. Caitlin is preparing for the huge WNBA All Star matchup against Team USA on Saturday, July 20. The Women’s Olympic Basketball Team is heading to the Paris Olympic Games which will commence on July 26; but first will do battle with some of the league’s fan favorites and dynamic rookies.
This is the first time WNBA fans will get to see Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese come together to face off against an opponent. And it is sure to be extremely entertaining.
